These shots were taken in an hour, from 630pm. There was a slight situation that caused the delay, but with the Nikon D3 and D700, the low light actually worked for us than against us.

Eiklin: you can go get one too. When your wife asks if you have gotten a new camera, just say you merely added a grip to your (is it?)D40. :)
ahh now i know what you said to your wife to get budget approval :P
mine's a d80, planning for d90 for the same cmos as d300. no need for speedy performance since i am no pro, and also d90 shall save explanations altogether since both have identical dimensions :)
