I have secretly filed this image away. Even though I like it personally (gives me the feeling that the couple are in nuptial dreamland, flying), I thought it's a bit...."uneventful" (can't see face, don't know what they are doing), may not go down well with most people.....until my wife saw it and said she likes it too. Hmmm....that changes a lot of things. If she says it's ok, then I won't disagree with her.

It's not the kind of texture tat you created.....but rather the developing process and her printing method that give her photos a very textured feel. I'm not sure if I am making sense here.....but it's the later series where she photographed a lot of death and morbid stuff. I saw the book at Borders.

But I still love her takes on her daughters. If I were to do that to my daughter in Singapore, I am afraid of the backlash and the label "dirty old man"!

hihi, i chanced upon your blog from your wedding photography website.

really like the picture. it's kinda magical, and like u said, it's seemingly in a dreamland. The all-red posie makes a nice focus (though quite subtly). Very nice daylighting.... love it :)
