Dream weddings are well, weddings that most people dream about and hopefully also ones that can be realised. Many times, there are many constraints, be they budgetary, families, or logistics. Not many people are lucky enough to have all elements falling in place and working together for couples.

However, every couple deserves a good photographer who can document the best elements of their weddings. Every wedding is unique and special in some ways. The common thing is every wedding is a dream come true for couples in love.

Every wedding photographer is unique as well! During a conversation with a friend who was getting married soon, I realized how different personalities are attracted to different photographers' works!

That's so true. Sometimes, it's not the works, but also the personality of the photographer. There was at least one incident when the couple, who despite the fact they told a 3rd party that they like my work, still picked another photographer because they prefer the other photographer who is more flamboyant and chatty.

I still prefer to be the faceless chef behind the dishes. Let customers appreciate my cooking for the food's sake and not because I can joke very well with them. :)

Ah... I never thot of it that way, so maybe Zibin and I chose you because you complemented our endless chatter? :P

About that quote you put up - "Don't remember me... remember the photos I took." I was thinking that it's hard not to remember the 'faceless chef'... not because it's the face that we remember, but because the photos you take is also like a window to your soul.

Like I told that friend of mine, there are plenty of competent photographers out there. But technical skill, even style is one thing. Perspective (from eye and/or heart) is a totally different thing. Form vs essence.

We like what you see, how you see it, and finally, how you capture it. :)

Hi,totally agree with animann..I personally believe that photos speak louder than the personality..

KC, I like your quote about to remember your photos but not you. It's a true reflection of your personality and I admire one whom doesn't like too much of "limelight" but working hard behind the scene.

Many may like your work but how many will understand how you see something captured. As I feel liking is superficial and is only when one understands and feels about your photos you take then only he/she will select you over another photographer of a more chatty, crazy or flamboyant personality.

Thanks bakedsconez, for your kind and encouraging words.

Are you someone I know?

Hi KC,

Just my humble words and glad that you found kindness and encouragement in them.

Whether I'm someone you know I guess is not really important. Most importantly is that I enjoy reading your views and looking at the photos captured by you.

I would rather be the "anonymous" fan and continue to support your works which I love and not disclose who I am. Just like how you like to be the "faceless chef" behind the dishes =)
