In my household, my wife and I always try to make learning more fun for Yuwen....even if things turn "unsavoury".
Like this picture, i was doing some test prints on my printer, and I had to decide between recyling it for other use or throwing it away. Then I had a great idea!

Now she knows "Hat", Stubble", "Spectacles", "Mole", "Earring" an "Watch"! Now that's better (and definitely cheaper) than any flashcards.

hey there! all i can say for your photos is -- WOW! heh. i'm noone whom you know; it's just that i bumped into this blog of yours. i'm a freelance photographer, or more of a hobby-ist kind, still. have covered so far only engagements cos i'm still studying. hah. i found your shots very inspiring and you come a across as a really humble and "i'm still willing to learn more" kinda personality when you're already a pro! wow man. hope i can learn more from you with regards to wedding photography, photojournalism (which i'm uber interested in. sigh.) or even general photography! but as far as i'm concerned, i love b/w as well! i shoot on ilfords, though. am just gonna explore the beauty of film photog for now. hope you could help me realise umm.. my dreams? cool man.. oh on my fotopage, there's no photos on my covers yet. just thought you might wanna take a peek. yeah.

Hey thanks man.
But i envy you because you found your passion at such a young age and i really like some of your photos. At your age, I am shooting crap, and worse still, sometimes not shooting at all.

Keep shooting: shoot what touches you, what you want to express, and I am sure you'll find a niche in photography.
